Victor Bruce Younce, age 82, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on June 9, 2026 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson, North Carolina following a short battle with cancer.

Bruce was born on December 6, 1943 in Maryland to the late Victor Younce and Mabel Saine.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife if 63 years Elaine Younce, of the home; his son, Barry Younce and wife Mary Ann of Lenoir, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones, of Hickory, NC.

Also left to cherish his memory is his Pastor and dear friend, Douglas J. Cox and wife Barbara, as well as his cherished church family at Hibriten Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member for 23 years.

In accordance with Bruce's wishes, no services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Amorem Hospice at 902 Kirkwood Street, NW Lenoir, NC 28645.
