Virginia Christina Raven May Weaver, age 73, of Taylorsville passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center with her daughter and son-in-law at her bedside, holding her hand.

Born September 20, 1949 in Oxford, England, Virginia was a daughter of the late Michael and Myra Jones Raven May.  Virginia loved listening to Elvis music and working crossword puzzles.  As a caregiver, she received numerous service excellence awards.  In the last year and a half of her life, she found true love in her fiancé, Jack Ruppard.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Craig Gregory Lewtas; two grandsons, Christopher Nathan Williams, Jr. and Dante Stansbury; a brother.

In addition to her fiancé, survivors include three daughters, Rachael Williams (husband Chris), Jayne Elizabeth Hinton (husband Anthony) and Clare Louise Lewtas; two brothers; three sisters; 11 grandchildren, Crystal Lynn Duckett (husband P.J.), Amber McNeese (husband Ashley), Lynaie Ash-Lewtas, Damion Powell, Madyson Hinton, Anthony Hinton III, Crystal Lewtas, Jonathan Lewtas (wife Valerie, Joshua Lewtas, Lilee Marie Schaefer and David Mitchel Marco IV.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
