Walter "Eddy" Edwin Adams, age 81, of Lenoir passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation. He was born July 17, 1943 in Caldwell County to the late Walter Adams and Louise Nelson Adams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years Sandra Walser Adams, of the home; daughter, Karen Maye and husband Mike; one brother, Mark Adams and wife Debbie; one sister, Peggy Hoyle and husband Ted; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Baldwin and Rev. Robert Hoyle officiating. A private interment will be held for the family.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
