Mrs. Willa Dean Triplett Rich, age 76, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Atrium Health CMC in Charlotte.

Born February 3, 1948 in Watauga County, Willa was a daughter of the late Earnest and Easter Carlton Triplett.  She worked at Lenoir Mirror for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Triplett Hartley and a stillborn sister; three brothers, Glen Dale Triplett, Junior Triplett and Marshall Triplett.

Survivors include her husband, Clay Franklin Rich; a daughter, Deana Bennett; two grandsons, Johnathon Mays and Justin Mays; a great grandson, Zander Mays; three sisters, Jackalene Ward, Wilma Lawhon and Bonnie Farr; she is also survived by numerous other relatives.

A memorial service celebrating Willa's life will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
