William "Bill"
Dean Veit
Sep 28, 1955 — Dec 25, 2024
In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive - Lee Iacocca
And that is exactly what he did. Even after receiving the news of his terminal diagnosis in January of 2024, William "Bill" Dean Veit pushed forward. He kept talking to his family, he kept working, he kept asking the hard questions, he kept teaching others his craft, he kept dreaming, he kept traveling, he kept going.
Bill loved nothing more than a hard day's work, a home cooked meal, a "fish tale" and a damn good time. To say he was ornery is an understatement; mischief was his game and humor was his playing piece. He expected nothing but perfection from himself and motivated others to surpass their own goals. He was larger than life and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Even if he had to criticize or correct you, you would walk away with more respect and love for him than before. He was a natural deal-maker, charismatic conversationalist, calculating engineer and strategic business man.
On Christmas morning, December 25, 2024, he was surrounded by his family as he took his last breath. He will be forever missed and always loved by his family, friends and colleagues from around the world.
Husband. Brother. Father. Bepa + Boppy. Entrepreneur. Leader. Teacher.
