William "Billy" Lewis Barnwell, age 46, of Lenoir passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 7, 2024. He was born February 19, 1978 in Caldwell County to Diane Pansy Coffey.

Billy loved and cherished his family, especially his mother. He was known to be found outdoors either creating something, building, roofing, riding ATV's, fishing, playing with the children, or just simply admiring natures beauty. He loved to be hands on fixing things and helping others, while listening to music.

Billy had a big heart with great respect, and enjoyed laughing with his family. He lived a great hard working life full of adventure with his intelligent master mind. Everyone seen such great potential in him. He will forever be loved, cherished, and missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Diane Coffey; son, Justin; daughter, Brooklyn; brothers, Jamie Barnwell (Katie) and James "JR" Barnwell (Nicole); sister, Regina Vanblaricome (Mike); as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at Miracle Reformation Church, 211 N Fairview Drive, Lenoir, NC 28645, with Rev. David Day and Penny Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the church.
