William Dale McJunkin, age 69, of Hudson NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 6, 2023 at his home.

He is preceded in death by his parents Billie D and Helen J. McJunkin; sister Mary Ann McJunkin; and grandchild Johnny Duncan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 42 years Sue McJunkin; son William Dale McJunkin Jr. (Tasha); daughters Tracy Edwards (Chris) and Amy Garcia; brothers, Billy R. McJunkin and Jud "Petey" McJunkin; sister Lauri Elder; uncle Jay "Bunky" McJunkin; step mother Ginny McJunkin; grandchildren Chelsea Edwards, Cierra Coffey, and Malea Edwards; and great-grandchildren Zailey, Cade, Jaxon, and River.

He is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

William loved making things. He was a crafter. He spent 27 years working in the furniture industry, 23 of those years were spent at Broyhill Furniture. He was also a security officer with Griffith Security for 3 years. He also enjoyed fishing and shooting pool.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 2:00PM at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Allen Fredell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00PM to 2:00PM
