William "Clinton" Walsh, age 90, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023. He was born December 2, 1932 in Wilkes County to the late Vilas T. Walsh and Margaret "Lizzie" Livingston Walsh. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Dickson Walsh; and a son, Douglas Clinton Walsh.

Mr. Walsh was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a farmer and a jack of all trades.

Those surviving include three sisters, Ina Walsh Martin, Betty Jo "B.J." Setzer, and Vivian Taylor, all of Lenoir; beloved friend, Brenda Haigler and son, Greg Haigler, both of Lenoir; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Lower Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert Livingston officiating.
