Willie Jean Pope, age 85, of Hudson passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was born November 10, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late Fred and Beulah Beach Ervin.

Survivors include one son, Darren Keith Pope (Lori) of Lenoir; one daughter, Kellie Pope McElveen (Tony) of Lenoir; one sister, Carol Shatley of Hudson; four grandchildren, Cassie McElveen, Gracie Pope, Kristin Pope, and Nathan Pope; and two great grandchildren, Trenton Pope and Charlie Pope.

The family would like to thank her special friend, Sandra Auton, and neighbors, Jill and Gary Mann for the love and friendship shown through the years.
