Patsy Greene Edwards, age 73 of Lenoir passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the residence.  She was born April 30, 1949 in Caldwell County to late Vernon and Della Wheeling Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Greene and one sister, Juanita Bishop.

Patsy will always be known for her great sense of humor and being the life of the party.  She enjoyed music and playing cards.  She absolutely adored her grandchildren which brought her great joy and pride.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Marcus McGee and wife Zaneta of Lenoir; one daughter, Kimberly Edwards Hiner and husband Matthew Alan of Granite Falls; one brother, Harold Greene of Wilkesboro; two sisters, Charlotte Deal of Hudson, Carolyn Burress of Lenoir; four grandchildren, Trevor Hiner, Alexis Hiner, Kylie Hiner, and Karly Wallace.

Memorial Services will be held at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Derrick Lingerfelt officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
