Paul Kenneth Keller, age 81, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence in Granite Falls.  Rev. Keller was born on May 29, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late John Tilford and Frances Grace Smith Keller.  He was also preceded in death by his spouses, Mable Keller and Ethel Keller; son, Paul Dean Miller; two daughters, Nancy Bumgarner and Audrey Bumgarner; sister, Shirley Peel; brother, William Donald Keller, Sr.; and a great-grandson, Jonathan Heavner.

Rev. Paul Keller spent 35 years in the pastoral ministry.  He loved the Lord and it was his joy to be his servant.  He enjoyed music and playing the guitar.  He will be remembered as a faithful and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his sons, Charlie Keller and wife Tina of Gamewell and Paul Keller of Sawmills; daughters, Linda Sanders and husband Randy of Granite Falls, Fran Heavner and husband Robert of Valdese, Holly Heavner of Connelly Springs and Linda Yelton of Hickory; brothers, John B. Keller and wife Leona of Elizabethon, TN and Darrell Keller, Sr., and wife Pamela of Kings Mountain; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Rev. Keller will be Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Keith Anderson, Rev.Wayne Rector, Rev. Jerrill Townsend.

Family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home from 4:00 until 5:00 pm.
